How can I make things with my husband like they were before the baby?
My husband thinks women who have had children are 4ever tainted because of the way it changes their bodies. I had a baby boy a few months ago. My husband won't touch me or even look @ me. We didn't plan 2 get pregnant, it was an accident & we don't believe in abortion. He never wanted me to ever get pregnant, we wanted 2 adopt instead because he thought it would ruin my body. I have lost the baby wait & I do kegel exercises but to him all that doesn't matter ,the fact that I had a baby makes me 4ever tainted in his eyes. He loves his son, he is a gr8 dad, so no issues there.
Would counseling help him to get over this?
Your husband has severe psychological problems if he can't have sex with the mother of his child after the child is born. Counseling can and will help him get past this, but only if he is willing. If I were you, I would consult a lawyer and see if you can get your marriage annulled as it doesn't look good. And if your husband refuses to have sex with you, that is grounds for an annulment. Perhaps if your husband is faced with the loss of his marriage and the opportunity to live with his wife and child (the child, naturally, will go with you as you are breastfeeding (or should be)), he will realize that his thinking is off-kilter and get some counseling.
