Mum of 4, just joined gym, pelvic floor not tolerating high impact exercises..........?
After 4 kids my pelvic floor isn't what it was....ordinarily it's ok unless I'm really tired, unwell, or run down....then I get the trickles with sneezing, etc.......I'm not real good with my Kegel exercises........
Have just joined a gym to improve overall fitness, and am enjoying circuit training....weights alternating with cardio......can manage low impact marching, etc, but whenever it's star jumps or bouncing etc....I'm terrified I'm gonna pee...........................help!!!!!

Pilataes will help you rebuild your pelvic floor and so you will then be able to take on more aerobic excercises. Also, try swiss ball excercises for the same reasons (as you do these types of excercise you naturally clamp your pelvic floor muscles and will tone and rebuild them.)
Also, swimming, this can also help fat burn -if you do enough, but wont matter so much if you cant hold your muscles in, gross, but the water is protected with chlorine and its no different from anything else- foot germs, pus...etc, its all in there, but desinfected out so its not harmful and in a way, not there.
As you swim, you naturally will pull in your stomach and hold your pelvic floor muscles which will help you rebuild them.
Yoga could also help, but I'd go with pilates first.
